Women's Lacrosse Welcomes Back Alumnae for Annual Contest

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's lacrosse team played its annual alumnae game at Swan Field on Saturday, September 29. A postgame tailgate followed the friendly contest between the current team and the returning side.

In total, 28 alumnae participated on an ideal fall Saturday: Lucy Koch '17, Maura Grant '17, Kate Sollee '18, Claire Cote '17, Shannon Rafsol '17, Emma Bracker '15, Elyse Adler '16, Molly Lausten '18, Alyssa Sherman '18, Megan Gallagher '14, Alexa Rae Pesce '12, Dayna Kim '15, Courtney Carter '17, Alexis Bond '12, Leah Hammerschlag '12, Shannon Horn '14, Hannah Morgan '15, Bri Robbins '15, Sarina Manetta '17, Nicole Sockett '15, Noelle Smith '18, Isabella Bertagna '16, Kenny Likes '13, Kayleigh Herrick-Reynolds '11, Caroline Malapero '11, Molly (Jordan) Kim '11, Jody Mayer '05, and Lou Charkoudian '03.

In 2018, The Fords capped the season with 12 wins, the most since a 13-5 record during the 2013 campaign. In Head Coach Katie Zichelli's first year at the helm, the Fords spent time in the national spotlight, with consecutive rankings in the national coaches' poll and four straight weeks receiving votes.

The Fords will open the 2019 season with a home contest against Christopher Newport on February 23. The full schedule is expected to be announced in December.
