Women's Lacrosse Adds Roma Hladky '22 to Coaching Staff

Roma Hladky '22 returned to the Haverford College women's lacrosse as an assistant coach prior to the 2025 season.

Hladky's stint as an assistant coach follows a decorated four seasons with the Fords. Earning 2022 IWLCA and USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American plaudits (becoming the first Haverford player since 2000 to earn All-American status), Hladky experienced a breakout 2022 season that saw her also garner First-team IWLCA All-Metro Region, Centennial Conference Midfielder of the Year, First-team All-Centennial Conference, PhillySIDA Academic All-Area Team, and Ambler Scholar-Athlete accolades.

Putting up a remarkable 68 points that included a conference-leading 57 goals, Hladky was also selected as Haverford's NCAA Woman of the Year Nominee for the 2021-22 academic year for her standout work on and off the field.

After Haverford, Hladky attended graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a Masters' Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics. 

Currently residing in Flemington, N.J., Hladky currently works for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine as a Global MSAT Engineer.
