PHILADELPHIA – The Haverford College men's and women's squash teams will head to University City and the Arlen Specter U.S. Squash Center on Friday to compete in the 2025 annual College Squash Association (CSA) Divisional Team Championships. Action will continue throughout the weekend at the state-of-the-art national center.
Teams ranked Nos. 13–34 in the latest national rankings will compete for the Hoehn, Summers, and Conroy Cups in the men's division, while teams ranked Nos. 13–31 on the women's side will vie for the Kurtz and Walker Cups. This divisional format debuted last season in Philadelphia and is now in its second year.
The Haverford women's squash team (6-10) enters the tournament ranked No. 27 nationally and will compete as the No. 7 seed in the Walker Cup (formerly C Division). The Fords are set for a first-round matchup against No. 30 Vassar (3-13), the No. 10 seed, with the winner advancing to face No. 2 seed Franklin & Marshall at 3 p.m. Friday. Matchups for further action are still to be determined by first-round results.
On the men's side, Haverford (6-11) holds the No. 29 ranking and will compete in the Conroy Cup as the top seed. The Fords will take part in a round-robin tournament beginning Friday at noon, facing No. 33 Fordham on Friday at noon and No. 32 Vassar on Saturday at noon as part of "Group 1" play. The other group, "Group 2," features No. 30 Denison, No. 34 Bard, and No. 31 Hobart.
Crossover playoffs are scheduled to begin later Saturday and continue into Sunday, featuring divisional championship, third-place, and fifth-place matches. If Haverford advances to the Conroy Cup final with a 2-0 mark in pool play, the championship match will take place Sunday at noon.
