ORLANDO, Fla. – The Haverford College women's tennis team concluded its spring trip with an 8-1 loss to the University of Rochester Tuesday evening.

Haverford's (1-2) lone win came at No. 6 singles where Sarah Gibson won her second match in as many days, defeating Jillian Dann in straight sets (6-2, 6-2).

Rochester (2-1) won at the Nos. 1-5 positions in straight sets.

The Fords will have a few practices in the warm weather before returning home at the end of the week. Haverford will open Centennial Conference play in its next match Saturday, Mar. 20 versus Ursinus College at 11 a.m. at Bramall & Marshall Courts.
