SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Haverford College women's tennis team lost to Swarthmore College, 8-1, Wednesday afternoon in a Centennial Conference match.

Haverford's only victory came at No. 3 doubles where Katie Drooyan and Sarah Gibson were victorious over Alexis Hickman and Stephanie Chia, 9-7.

The Fords drop to 8-6 overall and 7-2 in the Centennial. Swarthmore improves to 10-4 on the season and 8-1 in the conference.

Haverford closes out conference play by hosting No. 13 Johns Hopkins University Saturday at 11 a.m.
