HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's tennis team dropped its non-conference tilt to New York University, 9-0, Friday afternoon at Alumni Field House.
Jaclyn Porter and Katie Wettick came close at No. 1 doubles, falling to Alexa Wimes and Flora Lee, 8-5.
In singles play, Katie Drooyan was the lone Haverford player to win a set. She took the first set from Lena Krups at the No. 4 spot.
The loss drops Haverford to 2-3 on the season. NYU improves to 3-4.
The Fords have little time to rest as they travel to Lancaster, Pa. Saturday to take on Franklin & Marshall College at 1 p.m.
