HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College women's tennis team saw its four-match Centennial Conference winning streak come to an end as it fell, 5-4, to visiting Dickinson College on Saturday afternoon.

Kate Donches and Abbey Flynn, paired at No. 2 doubles, provided the Fords (9-7, 5-2 CC) with their first point of the day with an 8-5 victory.

Trailing 2-1 after doubles play, Haverford battled the Red Devils (12-2, 5-2) for every point during singles action. Alex Ferrara at No. 1, Caitlin Gallagher at No. 2, and Donches at No. 3 dug deep to pull out three-set victories.

Registering wins in the final three spots of singles, Dickinson narrowly claimed the match.

The Fords, ranked 16th in the Atlantic South, travel to Washington College on Wednesday for a 3:30 p.m. Centennial contest.
