Centennial Conference release

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Liv Pindzola of the Haverford College women's tennis team has been named to the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team. The team features one student-athlete from each institution as selected by their head coaches.

Sportsmanship is one of the pillars of NCAA Division III and the Centennial Conference. The Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Teams recognize student-athletes who exemplify the fundamental values of respect, fairness, civility, honesty, and responsibility both on and off the field or playing surface.

Joining the Fords from York, Pennsylvania with deep ties to the Haverford community, Pindzola won her first career match in doubles during the ITA Southeast Regional Championships as she reached the quarterfinals of the "C" draw.  That strong result came just one week after making her collegiate debut at the Swarthmore Invitational. She played in three singles matches throughout the fall and spring semesters. Pindzola made her first appearance in the varsity lineup at No. 6 singles against Catholic during the team's trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina during the abbreviated spring season.
