Why did you choose Haverford?
I chose Haverford because I loved the small community feel that it had. When I visited, everyone on the volleyball team was so nice to me and they were all great friends. I wanted to come to a place where I felt like I could make great friendships on and off of the team.

Why did you choose to play a sport in college?
I decided to play volleyball in college because I really love the sport and I didn't want to stop playing. Even more, however, I wanted to have a set of friends that I knew would always be there for me from the start.

What is your favorite team experience?
Some of my favorite memories of being on the team come from all of the bonding games that we play during preseason and practices to make sure that we can work together. Being friends with all of my teammates makes it so that when we win a game or play really well, I am even happier because I get to share those experiences with my friends.

What advice would you give to a high school student considering Haverford?
Some advice that I would give to high school students looking at Haverford is to pick a school where you feel comfortable. If you are thinking about playing sports in college, make sure that you meet the coach and team to decide whether you think you would be a good fit for the program and the people.

What are your thoughts on the Honor Code?
The Haverford Honor Code is one of my favorite parts about the school, I feel safe on campus because I know that everyone respects the Honor Code. It is a great feeling to be trusted and to trust others.
