Dina Kosyagin Named to NCAA Cambridge Regional All-Tournament Team

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Haverford senior outside hitter Dina Kosyagin was named to the 2021 NCAA Cambridge Regional All-Tournament team after an impressive weekend as the Fords competed at in the NCAA tournament for the first time since the 2014 season. Kosyagin notched 25 total kills and 4.17 kills per set over the two matches, as Haverford triumphed over UMass-Boston in straight sets in the NCAA First Round Contest on Friday night before falling to eventual regional champion No. 18 MIT in the second round Saturday afternoon. 

The Las Vegas product hit .274 and also added three digs and two total blocks in NCAA tournament action. Kosyagin, a first-team All-Centennial Conference pick and AVCA All-Region honorable mention selection, led the Centennial in kills and ranked fourth in kills per set this season. She finishes her Haverford career with 938 total kills in just three competitive seasons, and the seventh-best kills per set mark in program history (3.13).
