Haverford College Athletics

  • Fifty-two athletes were named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll
  • Caity Tully (women's indoor track & field), Adrian Sills-Takyi (men's basketball) and Liz Mayell (women's basketball) were named to the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team
  • Men's Basketball qualified for the Centennial Conference playoffs for the fifth time in eight seasons. 
  • Men's indoor track and field team won the Centennial Conference Championship while having four individuals and the distance medley relay team qualify for the NCAAs.
  • The women's indoor track team's 4x800-meter relay team of Mary Morgan, Emily Scott, Cara Keifer and Kara McMahon won the conference title.
  • Men's fencing won the Middle Atlantic Collegiate Fencing Association (MACFA) team championship.
Men’s Basketball

  • Qualified for the Centennial Conference playoffs for the fifth time in eight seasons as they reached the semifinal round.  
  • Received the Collegiate Basketball Officials Association Sam Schoenfeld Sportsmanship Award for the first time
  • All-Centennial Conference – (Goldberg –second team, Baker –honorable mention, Permutt –honorable mention)

Men’s Indoor Track & Field

  • Won the Centennial Conference championship
  • Men's indoor track & field had four individuals, and the distance medley relay (DMR) team, meet NCAA Division III provisional qualifying standards–two of those were automatic qualifiers
  • The men's indoor DMR team finished third at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship, earning an All-American status.
  • All-Centennial Conference – (Bennett – first team – long jump,  Oh – first team - pole vault, Schoch – first team - 800-meter, mile), Hulleberg – first team - 3,000-meter, the DMR team- first team, the 4x800 relay team – first team
  • At the NYU Team Challenge, the men's DMR team broke the school and Centennial Conference Record with a time of 9:56.01

Eric Arnold

  • Member of the indoor DMR team that finished third at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship, earning an All-American status

Tom Donnelly

  • Tabbed as the USTFCCCA Mideast Region Indoor Coach of the Year

Andrew Golato

  • Member of the indoor DMR team that finished third at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship, earning an All-American status

Ivo Milic-Strkalj

  • Member of the indoor DMR team that finished third at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship, earning an All-American status

Tim Schoch

  • Member of the indoor DMR team that finished third at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship, earning an All-American status

Women’s Indoor Track & Field

  • The 4x800-meter relay team of Mary Morgan, Emily Scott, Cara Keifer and Kara McMahon won the conference title.
  • The women's 4x400 relay team of Davis, Welch, Carlomagno and Neilson set a new school record (4:01.64) at the NYU Team Challenge.

Kimberly Carlomagno

  • Part of the 4x200 meter relay team that won the Centennial Conference Championship

Hannah Davis

  • Part of the 4x200 meter relay team that won the Centennial Conference Championship

Kylie Lipinski

  • Selected as Centennial Conference Most Outstanding Indoor Field Performer after her win in the triple jump

Christina Neilson

  • Beat the NCAA Division III provisional qualifying standards in the 55-meter dash and the 400-meter dash.
  • Set the school record in the 400-meter dash (58.38) at the Centennial Conference championships.
  • Named the Centennial Conference Most Outstanding Indoor Track Performer after winning the 55-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash and the 4x200-meter relay (with Hannah Davis, Zoe Welch and Kimberly Carlomagno) at the conference championships

Zoe Welch

  • Part of the 4x200 meter relay team that won the Centennial Conference Championship

  • Won the Middle Atlantic Collegiate Fencing Association (MACFA) team championship.
  • Head coach Chris Spencer was tabbed as the MACFA Coach of the Year
  • All-MAFCA – (Bostick –first team, Nieuwland –first team, Olson –first team, Ruby –first team, Elbert –second team)

Andrew Bostick

  • Selected to the Philadelphia Inquirer All-Academic Men's At-large Team

James Nieuwland

  • Won MAFCA individual (epee) championship

Chris Spencer

  • MACFA Coach of the Year
