PHILADELPHIA - The relay team of Dominique Monroy, Anastasia Jaycobs, Olivia D'Aulerio, and Isabel Thornberry, represented the Haverford College women's track & field program at the 128th Penn Relays Friday. The quartet competed in the 4x400 meter relay, against five other teams hailing from both the Centennial Conference and the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC).

The relay team darted to a time of 4:02.28, coming away with third place overall in the event. Centennial Conference foe Johns Hopkins raced to a first place finish, as their time of 3:51.81 set a new Penn Relays record for fastest time in the Centennial/MAC 4x400 meter relay while Stevens edged out the Scarlet & Black for second.

Featuring some of the best runners spanning high school through the professional ranks, the Penn Relays is the oldest and largest continually running track and field competition in the United States.

Aside from the group of Monroy, Jaycobs, D'Aulerio, and Thornberry, the remaining members of the women's track and field squad will be taking the weekend off from competition, as they set their sights on the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships which run from Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 5 at Muhlenberg.
