Men's Soccer Finalizes 2024 Schedule, Set For Nine Home Matches at Walton Field

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College men's soccer team has unveiled its schedule for the 2024 fall regular season campaign. The slate features 18 total matches this season, including nine home dates at historic Walton Field. Kevin Brenner returns to the helm for his second season with the squad, as the Fords look to chase down the Centennial Conference championship. 

The Scarlet and Black kick off their 2024 journey on the road, facing Arcadia on August 30 and Rutgers-Camden on August 31 as part of the Cialella Soccer Classic in the Garden State. They then return to Ford for a three-game homestand, hosting Susquehanna on September 4, Eastern on September 7, and Neumann on September 10, on the all-natural grass of Walton Field.

The Fords continue their non-conference slate with stops at Mt. St. Vincent (Sept. 14) and Rowan (Sept. 17), before opening up their Centennial Conference slate onTylus Field at Franklin & Marshall (Sept. 21) in Lancaster, Pa.

The Scarlet and Black wrap up their first full month of action at home, as non-conference opponent Centenary (N.J.) (Sept. 24) and Centennial Conference foe Gettysburg (Sept. 28) stop by Walton Field, before opening up the month of October with a trip to Allentown, Pa. to take on Muhlenberg (Oct. 2).

Following the quick matchup with the Mules, Haverford returns home to host Dickinson (Oct. 5) and Washington College (Oct. 13), before finishing up their non-conference slate with a Wednesday afternoon contest against Farmingdale State of the Skyline Conference (Oct. 16).

Centennial Conference play resumes with two more road tests at McDaniel (Oct. 19) and Ursinus (Oct. 23), before Johns Hopkins visits Walton Field for Senior Day on Saturday, October 26.

A battle with Hood Trophy rival Swarthmore (Nov. 2) closes out the regular season for the Fords, as the Centennial Conference postseason begins with First-Round action on Tuesday, November 5, followed by semifinals (Nov. 8) and the championship game (Nov. 10) at the site of the higher seed in each matchup.
