HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford College men's soccer sophomore forward Aidan Lacy has earned an All-Centennial Conference honorable mention, as announced in the Centennial Conference's annual postseason awards release on Wednesday morning.

Lacy, a native of Raymore, Missouri, was an electric presence on the field this season, appearing in 18 games with 17 starts. He scored the game-winning goal in Haverford's 1-0 victory over Farmingdale State on October 16 and tallied three assists in 2024, contributing to the Fords' win over Centenary (Sept. 24) and draws against Neumann (Sept. 10) and McDaniel (Oct. 19).

In addition to Lacy's honor, senior Joey Carol (Cornelius, N.C.) was named to the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team. Carol played in all 18 games this season, making 14 starts. Over his four seasons with the Fords, the Woodlawn School alum has logged two goals in 34 starts and helped anchor a defense that secured five shutouts in 2023.

The Centennial Conference Player of the Year award went to Dickinson's Saul Iwowo, while the Red Devils also claimed Rookie of the Year honors for Nicholas Dwamena and Coaching Staff of the Year recognition. Defensive Player of the Year was awarded to Johns Hopkins midfielder Francis Meyer.

Haverford concluded the 2024 season with a 2-11-5 overall record and a 0-7-2 mark in the Centennial Conference. With a foundation of two wins and five draws, including a shutout against No. 9 Rowan, the team looks forward to an energized 2025 season.
