Caulfield, Cebul, Sergay are winners but men's tennis still falls to Hornets

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Matthew Cebul and Natty Sergay teamed up for a win at the No. 2 doubles slot but the Haverford College men's tennis team fell to visiting Kalamazoo College, 7-2, in non-conference action Thursday night in Alumni Field House.

Cebul and Sergay took down Alex Dombos and Tom Cafmeyer by an 8-4 count to pick up one of three points in doubles action for Haverford (1-5).

Kalamazoo (2-5) took its 2-1 lead into singles play and won all but one match to clinch the victory, though.

Kevin Caulfield won the lone singles point for the Fords defeating Nate Eddy in straight sets. Caulfield is ranked 12th in the Atlantic-South Region while Eddy is 16th in the Central Region rankings.

The Fords, ranked 15th in the Atlantic-South's team rankings, welcome McDaniel College Saturday afternoon for a Centennial Conference match-up scheduled for the Bramall Courts at Noon.
