Fords place 85 on Centennial's spring academic honor roll

LANCASTER, Pa. – Haverford College athletics once again colored the Centennial Conference's academic honor roll Scarlet and Black. Always a populous 'team' on the league's fall/winter/spring honor rolls, the Fords placed 85 student-athletes on the spring list.

Men's and women's tennis combined for eight representatives, baseball and softball added 15, men's and women's lacrosse put 14 on the list and the men's and women's outdoor track & field programs combined for a whopping 48 honorees.

Several Fords who earned mention on the honor roll were also all-conference honorees.

Baseball's Louis DeRosa (first team), Mike Galetta (first team) and Bryan Henrick (second team) picked up each of the Centennial's postseason honors as did softball's Candice Smith (second team).

In lacrosse, the womens' Josie Ferri (first team), Kayleigh Herrick-Reynolds (second team) and Kristin Sockett (second team) are joined on both lists by Travis Gregory (first team) and Dillon Hamill (second team) from the men's program.

Katie Wettick (first team singles and doubles) earned honor roll and all-conference honors from the women's tennis team.

Track's Kylie Lipinski from the women's program and Andrew Golato, Anders Hulleberg, Tim Schoch and Andrew Sturner from the men's picked up honor roll and first-team all-league mentions.
