WESTMINSTER, Md. - The Haverford College men's tennis team capped off a successful weekend by taking down host McDaniel College, 7-2, in Centennial Conference action on Sunday afternoon.

A day after beating Dickinson College 9-0, the Fords (6-4, 3-1 CC) put forth another strong effort against the Green Terror (5-5, 0-4).

Four players were victorious in both singles and doubles action during the course of the contest. Leading the way was Jacob Weisenthal, playing at No. 1 singles, who dropped just two games to Steve French on his way to his fourth consecutive singles win of the season. Earlier Weisenthal, teamed with Matthew Cebul, earned one of Haverford's two double victories with an 8-5 win at No.1 doubles.

The No. 2 doubles team, consisting of Sloan Millman and Joshua Lederman, provided the other point for the Fords during doubles play with an 8-2 victory over Brian Kron and Matthew Langsdale.

Cebul, Millman, and Lederman also earned straight-set wins during singles action. Accounting for the other singles victory, also in straight sets, was freshman Yohannes Ejigu, playing at No. 5 singles, who moved to 2-0 in his collegiate career.

Facing the second of three-straight conference contests on the road, Haverford heads to Muhlenberg College on Tuesday. The match begins at 3 p.m.
