LANCASTER, Pa. – Haverford College's men's tennis team placed three of its student-athletes -- juniors Kevin Caulfield and Danny Himelstein, and senior Natty Sergay -- on the 2012 All-Centennial Conference team as announced by the league office Thursday morning.

Caulfield, rated ninth in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) Atlantic South region singles rankings, was voted a first-team singles and doubles player by the league's coaches. Playing at the No. 1 singles spot for the Fords, Caulfield compiled a 14-2 overall mark which included a 6-1 record within league play. Caulfield and Himelstein earned first-team doubles honors after posting a 5-2 Centennial record as the team's top tandem.

Sergay earned honorable mention all-conference singles honors after playing at the No. 2 spot for Haverford and registering a 5-6 Centennial mark during the year.

The trio helped lead Haverford to an 11-3 overall record and 6-3 Centennial finish which was fifth-best in the conference, qualifying the Fords for the league's postseason tournament.

Forced to play the tournament-opening quarterfinal match on the road, Haverford downed a Washington College squad by a 5-1 score, one month after the host Shoremen had eked out a narrow 5-4 victory during the regular season. The quarterfinal victory earned Haverford a semifinal date against Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md., where the No. 16 Blue Jays were able to halt the Fords' march toward the conference championship round.
