HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College men's tennis team finished an outstanding season as the No. 11 team in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Atlantic South Region rankings. The Fords climbed to as high as No. 10 in the regional rankings throughout the spring season.

The Fords finished with a 13-4 overall record to go along with a 7-2 mark in the Centennial Conference. Those 13 victories tied for the most in a season since 2007. The 2016 spring season also featured an 11 match winning streak that started in early March and continued into the final two weeks of the regular season.

Haverford advanced to the Centennial Conference Tournament semifinals as the No. 3 team in the conference before falling to No. 26 Johns Hopkins. The Fords have made it to at least the conference semifinals in 10 of the last 11 seasons. That span includes three trips to the Centennial Conference's championship match.

The Fords had four players on their team with at least 10 victories in singles. Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year Josh Moskovitz and senior Zack Mason both finished the year with 11 wins. Harrison Elbert and Ishaan Prinz both won 10 matches, while first-team All-Centennial Conference performer Luis Acaba was 6-3 at No. 1 singles during limited action in the spring and has seven singles wins overall on the year.

In doubles competition, co-captains Acaba and Elbert were 9-4 at No. 1 doubles this season. That record includes a 4-2 mark against Centennial Conference doubles teams for the All-Centennial Conference performers. Dais Nakayama and Moskovitz finished with seven wins together in doubles, five of which came in conference matches.
