HAVERFORD, Pa. – Josh Moskovitz was named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season after a perfect 4-0 week between his singles and doubles matches. The Fords defeated Washington College (won, 9-0) and Franklin & Marshall (won, 7-2) during this past week with both teams entering their match-up with Haverford sporting unbeaten Centennial Conference records. The Fords are now just one of three unbeaten teams in the conference after this past week's results.

Ranked as the No. 16 singles player in the Atlantic South Region, Moskovitz did not drop a set at No. 1 singles as he topped both of his opponents by identical 6-1, 6-4 scores. The Fords' junior co-captain is now unbeaten in Centennial Conference singles matches and holds a 5-4 record overall at the No. 1 spot in the lineup this spring.

Moskovitz teamed up with David Kong for two more wins in the top doubles position against the Shoremen and Diplomats. Haverford's No. 1 duo won by an 8-3 score to start doubles against Washington College. The Moskovitz/Kong pairing stayed unbeaten in conference play and improved to 5-3 overall at No. 1 doubles with an 8-5 victory at Franklin & Marshall.

Earning his second CC Player of the Week accolade this spring, Moskovitz won his first honor after a pair of wins against Salisbury during the Fords' 7-2 team victory. The 2016 Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year has earned All-Centennial Conference honors in both singles and doubles during his first two seasons. His honor this week marks the fourth time in the past five weeks that a Haverford College men's tennis player has been named the conference's player of the week this season.

Men's tennis will have two matches this upcoming week. The Fords will first travel to Ursinus for a 4 p.m. match against the Bears on Tuesday. On Saturday, it will be another match-up of teams that are currently undefeated in conference play as Johns Hopkins comes to campus for an 11 a.m. first serve.
