HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College men's tennis team held its No. 12 ranking in the Atlantic South Region during the second rankings release of the spring season. The Fords (9-4, 5-0 CC) are one of three remaining teams that are unbeaten in Centennial Conference matches and are currently riding a four-match winning streak into this weekend. In addition to the team's ranking, Josh Moskovitz held his position as the No. 16 ranked singles player in the region.

Haverford's only four defeats this season have come to nationally-ranked teams. The Fords are coming off a three key Centennial Conference victories against Washington College, Franklin & Marshall, and Ursinus which appear to have the team poised for another appearance in the conference's semifinals. Haverford is a combined 36-5 between singles and doubles during its five-match Centennial Conference winning streak for a winning percentage of just under 90 percent in conference battles.

Josh Moskovitz has played No. 1 singles for the Fords each match he has been in the lineup this spring and holds a 6-4 record during that time. Like his team, the junior co-captain has won three straight singles matches in that top position. Already a two-time Centennial Conference player of the Week this season, Moskovitz's most recent win came in straight sets against the No. 22 player in the Atlantic South Region from Ursinus.

Men's tennis will test its mettle against another of those undefeated Centennial Conference teams this Saturday when Johns Hopkins comes to campus for an 11 a.m. first serve. The Blue Jays are ranked 23rd nationally and hold the No. 7 position in the Atlantic South team rankings.
