Brendan Kincaid Named to the ITA DIII Operating Committee

ITA Division III Operating Committee

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) named the new Division III Operating Committee this week, including Haverford College men's tennis head coach Brendan Kincaid. The committee members will serve a three-year term from July 2020 to June 2023. Members of the operating committees are chosen by the ITA membership to represent their region in governance decisions.

Kincaid, who will enter his third season leading the Fords during the 2020-21 academic year, will be one of three representatives from the Atlantic South Region. That Atlantic South Region includes teams from the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference/Capital Athletic Conference, Atlantic East Conference, Centennial Conference, Landmark Conference, Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth, Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom, Old Dominion Athletic Conference, Presidents' Athletic Conference, Southern Athletic Association, and USA South Athletic Conference.

In his first season with the Fords, Kincaid led Haverford to within a single victory of the College's all-time record. He coached the Centennial Conference Player of the Year in Josh Moskovitz '19 and Centennial Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year in Kevin Yan '20. He was also named to Centennial Conference Coach of the Year following that 2019 campaign. Although this past spring was cut short, the Fords did pick up the program's first nationally-ranked win since the 2016 season a 6-3 triumph over No. 31 Stevens.

Kincaid came to Haverford after spending six years as the head coach at Goucher College, where he led that program to the last three Landmark Conference Championships, the first championships in that team's history.
