HAVERFORD, Pa. – For the 21st consecutive season, the Haverford College men's tennis team has been recognized with the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team Award. The Fords also staked their claim as one of the top academic teams in the country as success continued on an individual basis, with 13 players named ITA Scholar-Athletes.

In order to earn the ITA All-Academic Team Award, teams must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20. The Fords have accomplished that feat every year since 2001. To be a scholar-athlete, players must be a varsity letter winner and have at least a 3.50 grade point average during the past academic year. In 2021, 722 Division II men's tennis student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athlete while 111 programs were recognized.

The 13 Haverford student-athletes to garner the award in 2021 are Adam Chow, Jason Edmonds, Kirin Eicher, JP Franco, George Jiang, Patrick Kley, Scott Kozarsky, Pranav Krishnan, Jun Mo, Abhinav Nallapareddy, Cameron Sepahi, Jackson Trevor, and Harrison Weinstock

The Fords won their lone match of the 2021 campaign, defeating Muhlenberg by a 7-2 final. In 2020, Haverford notched its first nationally-ranked win since the 2016 season with a 6-3 victory over No. 31 Stevens during the abbreviated dual season.
