HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College men's tennis team wrapped up the Haverford Invitational on Sunday with a morning matchup against Hamilton COllege. The Fords picked up three individual match wins against the Continentals, with all three of those triumphs coming in singles action.

Reigning Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year Andreas Wingert looked poised in a 7-5, 6-5 win over first year Andson Anderson of Hamilton, earning the victory in straight sets. Elsewhere, James McKenzie was a winner over Mark Apsey (7-6(5), 6-2), and Max Beckwith took down Pius Lo in a pro set, prevailing 8-2.

In doubles, the pairing of Stefan Johnson and Justin Minerva took Connor Griff and Matt Bartok to a tiebreaker before falling 8-7(5). Aiden Kim, Danny Loder, and Adam Chow also all impressed in singles matches before falling in the superbreaker, which was played in lieu of a deciding third set.

Haverford will now wrap up the fall season at the ITA Southeast Regional, which will run from September 30 through October 2 at the University of Mary Washington campus in Fredericksburg, Va. More information about that tournament, including times and draws, is slated to be announced in the coming days.
