HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College men's cross country team had a strong showing with 19 alumni returning to campus for the annual alumni/open meet on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday's race featured a total of 62 runners between the varsity, alumni and open entrants into the field. Charlie Marquardt '16 (14:53.7) was the first runner across the line and was closely followed by Eric Arnold '12 (14:59.2). Henry Woods (15:07.7) was the top finisher for the varsity team while Jimmy Gorman (15:16.9) and Greg Morgan (15:19.4) rounded out the top five finishers.

The complete team of alumni finishers included: Paul Song '83, Jason Tripp '94, Brian Baillie '05, Nick Vechick '10, Eric Arnold '12, Ben Siqueiros '12, Aaron Buikema '13, Ivo Milic-Strkalj '13, Mike Riccio '13, Graham Barrett '15, Joel Christian '15, Henri Drake '15, Zach Gabor '15, David Rosa '15, Sam Fujimori '16, Nick Gandolfo-Lucia '16, Charlie Marquardt '16, Bill Ristow '16, and Dylan Verner-Crist '16.

The varsity squad returns to action at the Main Line Invitational on Friday, September 16. The men's race will start at 5:30 p.m. on the Alumni Cross Country Course.
