HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College men's cross country team was named one of the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) 2020 Division III Men's All-Academic Teams, the organization announced on Thursday afternoon. The Fords' cumulative team GPA ranked sixth in all of Division III. They were also the top performing school in the Centennial Conference.

To be considered an All-Academic Team, a program must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.10 or greater through its institution's last grading period. The requirement to participate in an NCAA Regional Championship was waived for the 2020 selections due to the cancelation of NCAA Fall Championships. The Fords were one of 173 men's teams to receive the honor following the fall semester.

Haverford has an illustrious academic award history as the program has won the overall Scholar Team of the Year three times (2007, 2010, 2011) and has earned the All-Academic Team designation in each year of the award's history dating back to 1996.

In November, Haverford placed 17 members of the squad on the Centennial Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll. That number represented the most in the conference as Nathan Akerhielm, Jeffrey Allen, Aaron Bratt, Peter Buckley, Caesar Dai, Jack Fanikos, Charlie Ferguson, Seamus Flannery, Michael Franco, Jacob Gaba, Scott Kaiser, Amos Karlsen, Dylan Kupetsky, Jacob Landsberg, Ryan O'Donnell, Simon Perales, and Nick Scardigno all picked up that award.
