
HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College women's tennis is ranked 36th in the preseason release of the 2025 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Women's Tennis Coaches Poll, the organization announced in a release on Thursday.
Coming off a 10-6 (7-1 CC) season that saw the Fords reach the Centennial Conference Semifinals for the sixth consecutive year, Head Coach John Taft returns to the Scarlet and Black for his fifth season, aiming to guide the Fords to the Centennial Conference postseason for the 13th time in the past 14 seasons.
Women's Tennis will challenge itself early in the spring slate, with a bevy of anticipated matchups against ranked opponents on the spring break trip to Orlando, Florida. Matches against No. 31 North Central, No. 25 Grinnell, No. 21 Kenyon, and No. 32 Bethel are on the horizon from March 9 to March 13.
The Haverford slate includes conference foe No. 28 Swarthmore on April 1 in a home contest as well as a home non-conference matchup with No. 17 Christopher Newport. Haverford also travels to No. 7 Johns Hopkins in the regular season finale on April 26.
