CHESTER, Pa. - The Haverford College women's track & field team opened the outdoor season on Thursday evening at the Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener University.

Senior Sheera Rosenbaum finished fifth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18 minutes, 47.34 seconds. Freshman Csilla Vamos (eighth) and junior Chelsea Thorsheim (11th) also placed in the top third of the field of 39 runners.

Senior Dorothea Letner, the lone Haverford competitor in the 10,000-meter run, finished eighth.

The two-day meet concludes on Friday as several Fords will run in the 1,500 scheduled to take place at 11:15 a.m.
