Five All-Region Honorees for Women's Outdoor Track

NEW ORLEANS — The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the All-Region honorees for the 2016 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season this week. Haverford's Maggie Heffernan, Amelia Keyser-Gibson, Taylor Murphy, Katie Sullivan, and Nora Weathers were honored with the accolade in the Mideast Region.

To be named All-Region, an athlete must either be ranked in the top five of an individual event in the region according to final TFRRS data or be part of a top three relay team.

Taylor Murphy (100 meter hurdles)
Katie Sullivan (1500 meters)
Nora Weathers (1500 meters)

The Fords placed third at the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships and missed a qualifier in Weathers to the NCAA Championship by just one position.
