CARLISLE, Pa. - The Haverford College men's squash team (10-6) split the day at the Dickinson Round Robin on Saturday, falling to host No. 25 Dickinson in the morning match by a 9-0 final before registering a 9-0 blanking of No. 55 Johns Hopkins in the late afternoon contest.

Dickinson 9, Haverford 0

Heading into a true road match against a formidable Red Devils side, the Fords struggled to find their footing in the early goings against Dickinson. Highlights for the Fords included Davis Chase fending off a sweep at the top flight, responding to 11-6 and 11-2 defeats by taking an 11-8 victory over Dickinson's top-ranked Abdelrahman Elsergany. Tate Miller also registered a second-game victory at the fourth flight, as he fought back after Kobe Fleming grabbed an 11-7 first-game win. Miller took an 11-9 victory before Fleming was able to prevail in four.

Haverford 9, Johns Hopkins 0

In the late afternoon match, it was Haverford that was able to impose its will against the Blue Jays, striking for sweeps at all nine spots on the ladder. Chase surrendered just eight total points in his sweep of William Daniel at the top flight (11-1, 11-3, 11-4), and Quinton Crawford allowed just four total points in eclipsing Michael Tritsch at the second flight (11-1, 11-1, 11-3). Fitz Dougherty breezed past Preston Coffin (11-3, 11-2, 11-2) at the third flight, while Miller surrendered just seven points to Dokyung Yang at the fourth (11-1, 11-4, 11-2). Keil Reedich similarly cruised over Adam Osman at the fifth (11-2, 11-5, 11-2), while John Collins had little trouble with Nathan Safran at the sixth (11-3, 11-7, 11-6).

Khalil Walker took down Hai Phan at the seventh (11-5, 11-4, 11-2), while Nathan Wang got the best of Louis Hoffenberg at the eighth (11-2, 11-6, 11-3). Aaron Witkin allowed just nine total points to John Schindler at the ninth spot on the ladder (11-4, 11-1, 1-4). With a victory on Sunday, Miller now has 42 career match victories as the program's lone senior looks to take aim at the program's all-time career wins leaderboard. Miller needs just two more wins to match Tim Saint '02 for third on the all-time listing.

Haverford is now 4-4 all-time against the Blue Jays, as the Fords have won two straight in the series, also recording a 9-0 victory at last season's Round Robin at F&M. With the regular season now concluded, Haverford will have more than a week away from competition as the CSA Men's Team Championships are slated to open on Friday, February 28 in Cambridge, Mass. More information about the team championships, including pairings and schedules, will be released in the week prior to the opening of matches.
