CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - On the final day of the CSA Team Championships, the No. 31 Haverford College men's squash team (11-8) came away victorious with a 7-2 decision over No. 29 St. Lawrence in a Conroy Cup consolation playoff matchup. Haverford looked powerful against a Saints team that previously took a road victory at the GIAC Squash Courts in December.

St. Lawrence had only seven available players for the Sunday match, giving Haverford a 2-0 cushion before the start of play in the morning session. Haverford then registered a sweep at the seventh flight, with Alden Weinberg taking down Daniel Rosas in straight games (11-8, 11-2, 11-4). Haverford also recorded sweeps at the fourth and fifth flights, with Fitz Dougherty eclipsing Aaron Levy in three (11-9, 11-4, 11-3) and Keil Reedich taking a decisive victory over Logan Thomas (11-5, 11-7, 11-3).

John Collins was a winner at the sixth flight after falling in the first two games to Tyler Schmalz. Collins stormed back from the early hole to win three straight (6-11, 3-11, 11-9, 11-9, 11-8) for an emphatic finish to his rookie campaign. Fellow first year Quinton Crawford yet again found himself in the middle of a battle at the second flight, dropping the first game to Aran Thawani before outlasting the Saints player in a 13-11 second game. The next two both went to Crawford by 11-4 finals as Crawford wrapped up a final weekend in which he was consistently locked in some of the most compelling matches.

Senior Tate Miller finishes his Haverford career with 42 wins, a mark that is fourth in program history, while Dougherty looks poised to climb into the record books after reaching an even 40 at the end of his junior season. Haverford reached 10 or more wins for the fourth consecutive season and will take its No. 31 ranking into next year by virtue of a seventh place showing at the Conroy Cup.

The Fords will now await the release of the CSA Individual Championship pairings, which are expected to be announced early this week. Haverford's entrants will not have to travel far, as Penn will host the event from March 6-8.
