
HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford College men's squash has announced its 2024-25 schedule, featuring matchups in the Pennsylvania State Championships, Liberty League Championships, Centennial Conference Round Robin, and CSA Men's Divisional Team Championships.
Last season, the Fords placed third in the Conroy Cup at the CSA Divisional Championships, securing a 7-2 victory over Vassar in Philadelphia.
The Fords will open their season on Saturday, Nov. 9, with the annual alumni match at the GIAC Squash Courts. Haverford will then travel to Philadelphia for the Pennsylvania State Championships on Nov. 15-16, where they will face Drexel, Penn, Chatham, Franklin & Marshall, and Dickinson.
On Saturday, Nov. 23, the Fords will head to Poughkeepsie, N.Y., to compete against Connecticut College and Liberty League rival Vassar, concluding the fall semester schedule.
The men's squash team resumes play in January with a trip to Wesleyan on Jan. 17-19 to take on the host Cardinals, Liberty League competitor Denison, and Connecticut College. Navy will visit the GIAC Squash Courts for a Thursday night matchup on Jan. 23. Last season, Navy edged Haverford 6-3 in an exhilarating contest.
A home showdown with Dickinson follows on Jan. 25. To kick off February, the Fords will host Hobart and Vassar for Senior Day at the GIAC Squash Courts on Feb. 1. Next, Haverford will travel to Canton, N.Y., for the Liberty League Championships from Feb. 7-9.
The Fords will conclude the regular season on Feb. 22 with a trip to Dickinson to face Franklin & Marshall and the host Red Devils for the Centennial Conference Round Robin.
Men's squash will then compete in the CSA Men's Divisional Team Championships from Feb. 28 through March 2 at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia to wrap up the 2024-25 campaign.
