The Fords saw early success at the bottom of the ladder but ultimately fell to No. 32 Hobart, 6-3, in a competitive Liberty League matchup Saturday morning.

Haverford picked up wins at positions six, eight, and nine, with a pair of seniors in Ted Pyle and Garret Fantini securing victories to give the hosts an early boost. However, the visiting Statesmen (2-10) controlled the top of the lineup, winning five of the top six matches in four games or fewer. Noah Tunis battled at the top flight but fell in four tight games to Toby Clegg-Petri (11-5, 6-11, 14-12, 11-6), while Aaryaman Jaising forced a fourth game and Kai Schinaman forced extra points in their respective matches before ultimately falling to their Hobart counterparts.
