LANCASTER, Pa. – Sophomore goalkeeper Robin Chernow helped Haverford College's women's soccer team clinch third place and a first-round bye for the conference playoffs by recording a pair of shutouts over the week and on Monday was named the Centennial Conference's defensive player of the week.

Chernow held both Washington College and Swarthmore College without a goal in 200 minutes of game action. She registered three saves in Tuesday's 6-0 win over visiting Washington, then held firm with three more saves in a scoreless, double-overtime tie Saturday in the regular-season finale at Swarthmore.
