Jo Haller Named Third-Team All-Region

NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Jo Haller has been named to the 2015 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III Women's Soccer All-Mid-Atlantic Region squad as a third team selection. Haller's most recent award adds to a standout senior season that saw the Fords' captain also earn second-team All-Centennial Conference recognition.

Haller was one of six players that started all 17 games for the Fords during the 2015 season. The senior led the team in every offensive category, including goals (10), points (26), shots (59), shots on goal (32), and game-winning goals (5). Haller's five game-winning goals tied her with four other players for the program's single-season record. The captain also tied for the team lead with six assists.

Displaying incredible consistency throughout the year, Haller recorded a point in 11 different games. Nine of those games in which she registered either a goal or assist resulted in a Haverford victory. Her single game highlights were a pair of two goal, one assist performances against both Cabrini and Bryn Mawr. In addition to scoring the game-winning goal at Cabrini, Haller also had the game-winning tallies against Eastern, Lebanon Valley, Franklin & Marshall, and Washington College.

These offensive exploits helped the Fords go 11-5-1 on the season. The Fords have now won at least 10 games in six of the past seven years. Haverford was a perfect 7-0 in non-conference play for the first time in program history during 2015 campaign. Haverford has had 10 players earn all-region recognition during the past seven seasons.
