HAVERFORD, Pa. – Two more shutouts kept the Haverford College women's soccer team on the national radar as the Fords are once again receiving votes in both the United Soccer Coaches and D3Soccer.com national rankings this week. The Fords (11-1-2, 4-0-2 CC) are now the second team listed as receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches poll while Haverford garnered 14 voting points in the D3Soccer.com rankings.

Haverford is currently tied for first place in the Centennial Conference with Dickinson heading into the final two weeks of the regular season. The Fords are unbeaten over their last 13 matches which is just two results behind the school record that was originally completed during the 2004 season and replicated again over the course of the 2010 and 2011 campaigns. With a scoreless draw against Washington College and a 2-0 win against McDaniel this past week, the Fords have now posted 10 shutouts this year in 14 matches. That shutout percentage (71.4%) ranks seventh in all of Division III while the team's 0.415 GAA is 16th nationally.

The Centennial Conference continues to be highly rated around the country as six of the top nine teams in the United Soccer Coaches Middle-Atlantic Region reside in the Centennial. The regional rankings went unchanged this week with Johns Hopkins (2nd), Dickinson (4th), Swarthmore (7th), Gettysburg (8th), and McDaniel (9th) all joining the Fords who are the sixth-ranked team. The first edition of the NCAA Regional rankings which are used for the determination of NCAA at-large bids will be released tomorrow.

Although third in the Centennial Conference standings, Johns Hopkins leads the national rankings for the Centennial Conference as the Blue Jays are fifth in the United Soccer Coaches poll and seventh in the D3Soccer.com poll. Dickinson is ranked 16th and 14th, respectively, in those two polls. Swarthmore is ranked No. 24 in the D3Soccer.com poll and receiving votes from the United Soccer Coaches.

Women's soccer will be on the road this Saturday as the Fords travel to Carlisle for the first-place battle with the aforementioned Red Devils. Saturday's match will get underway at 1 p.m. Haverford closes the regular season the following week with Tri-Co matchups against Bryn Mawr and Swarthmore.
