HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College women's track & field team continued preparations for the approaching Centennial Conference outdoor championships by hosting Widener University at Johnson Track on Tuesday evening.

Brittany Steele led the way with two first-place performances at the meet. The freshman crossed the line in the 100-meter dash in 12.93 seconds and then later paced the field in the 200 with a time of 26.86. Junior Jade Andrade placed second in the 100 with a career-best time of 13.60 while Erin Seglem (28.35) and Kimberly Haughton (29.27) delivered career-best marks in the 200.

Hope Rainey provided another first-place finish for the Fords with a career-best time of 4 minutes, 45.20 seconds in the 1,500-meter run. Sophomore Molly Allen and senior Bridget Freeley placed fourth and fifth, respectively.

Haverford took the top-two spots in the 800 as sophomore Nora Weathers placed first in 2:17.33 and junior Katherine Greifeld followed with an outdoor-best time of 2:24.83. Weather's time currently ranks third on the conference performance list.

Carolyn Oehrig added another first place in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.81. The junior also come through with a season-best mark of 10.13 meters (33 feet, 2.75 inches) in the triple jump.

The Fords head to The College of New Jersey next weekend for the Lions' Invitational on Saturday.
