Women's Cross Country Hosts Alumnae Race

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College women's cross country program welcomed several former runners back to campus on Sunday morning as the Fords hosted the annual alumnae meet.

With the race being pushed back due to lightning in the area on Saturday, a total of 14 runners competed in the annual event. The varsity squad captured the top three spots in the final standings. Nora Weathers was the first to cross the line in a time of 18:50.47. She was followed by Katie Balmer (18:50.95) and Kelley Riffenburgh (18:58.74).

Cara Keifer was the top alumnae finisher as she placed fourth overall (19:53.91). Other runners that competed with the alumnae team were Sara Hess, Sharon Warner, Alice Vienneay, Chelsea Thorsheim, and Allison Guindon.
