HAVERFORD, Pa. – Leading the Haverford College women's cross country varsity team to the finish line in the Haverford Alumnae Open over the weekend earned junior Griffin Kaulbach the first Centennial Conference Runner of the Week award of the junior's career.

Kaulbach finished in fourth place overall as she completed the three-mile course with a time of 19:09.91. In addition to her exploits out on the course throughout her career, Kaulbach has also been named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team during her career and was a member of two Haverford relays which earned top-three finishes at previous conference championships.

Haverford had a strong turnout of both alumnae entrants and fans on Saturday for the Alumnae Open. With the conclusion of that annual event, the Fords will now face their first outside competition of the season in two weeks as they host the prestigious Main Line Invitational on Friday, September 20. The women's race will go off at 4:45 p.m. that afternoon on the Alumni Cross Country Course while the men are slated for a 5:30 p.m. start.
