HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford College women's cross country senior Krysta Nichols has been named to the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team, as announced by the conference office on Thursday.
Nichols, a senior from Nazareth, Pa., adds this honor to her consecutive College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Awards for 2022-23 and 2023-24. A Chemistry and Neuroscience double major, Nichols has also earned a spot on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll each season she's been eligible. She has contributed to four consecutive Centennial Conference Championship appearances and was a first-year member on the team's last NCAA Championship-qualifying squad in 2021.
Next up, Nichols and the women's cross country team will compete in the NCAA Metro Region Championships at the North Athletics Complex in Galloway, N.J., hosted by Stockton University. The women's 6K race is set to begin at 11 a.m., with seven runners per team. The top team and top individual from each region will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana, on November 23.
