Full CSC Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. - College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its Track and Field and Cross Country Academic All-District teams on Tuesday, with five members of the Haverford women's program earning inclusion for the 2024 honors.

To be eligible for Academic All-District accolades, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have produced a top-50 performance in the region in an individual event, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better. The award honorees from Haverford include Audrey Carter, Olivia D'Aulerio, Krysta Nichols, Summer Ryan, and Isabel Thornberry. Nichols and Thornberry each reprise their selection from a season ago.

Carter, from Concord, Mass., was named to the Centennial Conference Honor Roll for all three running seasons in 2023-24. She logged a 60th place overall finish at the Centennial Conference Championships in October 2023, and also represented the Fords in the 10,000 meters at last month's CC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

D'Aulerio previously earned an All-Region selection from the USTFCCCA last month. D'Aulerio ran a 57.58 at the Paul Donahue Invitational to earn the honors. This impressive time is now the second-best in school history for the outdoor 400 meters.

This is the third overall All-Metro Region designation for the Chesterfield, N.J., native. She was previously named to the indoor 400 meters All-Region team after setting the indoor school record in the event. Additionally, she earned an All-Metro Region designation for her role in Haverford's 4x400-meter relay during the 2023 track season. D'Aulerio also received honorable mention All-Centennial Conference honors this season, earning a bronze in the 400 meters with a time of 58.14 at the CC Championships. She is now second all-time in Haverford history for the 400 meters, just behind Christina Neilson '11, who set a time of 57.13 in 2011.

Nichols, of Nazareth, Pa., was a CSC Academic All-District selection last season and has been named to the Centennial Conference Honor Roll in each of six seasons of eligibility. She was an NCAA Championships qualifier during her rookie season in 2021.

Ryan, from New York City, has earned Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll designation in each season of eligibility. She capped a strong 2024 outdoor season with a top-10 finish in the javelin at the CC Outdoor Championships last month, and also logged an 11th place showing in the high jump at the indoor championship.

Thornberry, hailing from Louisville, Colo., took home Haverford's most prestigious academic honor for varsity athletes, as she was named the William W. Ambler '45 Award winner for the 2024 class, an award presented to the top student-athlete by GPA in the senior class. Thornberry was also the 2023 CC Outdoor Track & Field Academic Performer of the Year and a member of the PhillySIDA Academic All-Area team. A two-time All-Conference performer, this is her second consecutive CSC Academic All-District selection.
