SALISBURY, Md. - Haverford junior pole vaulter Ethan Gadra competed at the Salisbury University Final Qualifier on Tuesday afternoon at the Salisbury Track & Field complex. Gadra posted a mark of 4.41 meters (14 feet, 5.5 inches), falling short of his school record of 4.55 meters (14 feet, 11 inches), which was established at the Philadelphia Metropolitan Intercollegiate Invitational last month at Penn.

The height Gadra cleared on Tuesday matched the previous school record set by Jeff Barton '04 at the 2004 Centennial Conference Championships. 

Approved final qualifying meets will continue throughout the country this week, with the selection announcement of qualifying entrants to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Greensboro, N.C. slated for Friday, May 21 via an NCAA.com press release.
