Hannah Friedrich, a standout goalkeeper during her time at Haverford College, has returned to her alma mater as an assistant coach.
Friedrich, a Second-Team All-Centennial Conference selection in 2019, played a crucial role in the team's success during her tenure. She posted impressive statistics, allowing just 0.72 goals per game and saving 82 percent of shots faced. Her stellar performance helped Haverford secure seven consecutive shutouts, earning her the conference's Defensive Player of the Week award after a shutout victory against Lebanon Valley.
Following the cancellation of the 2020 season due to COVID-19, Friedrich returned to the pitch in 2021. As a two-time captain, she continued to excel in goal, posting a 0.63 goals-against average, .855 save percentage, and 53 total saves. Her outstanding contributions earned her the 2021 Team's Most Valuable Player award.
Friedrich, a Philadelphia resident, currently works as a Management and Budget Consulting Analyst for Public Financial Management (PFM). She graduated from Haverford in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Health Studies.
