Haverford Alumni Awards

Thomas Glasser '82 Hall of Achievement - The purpose of the Thomas Glasser '82 Hall of Achievement is to recognize former athletes, teams, coaches and/or administrators who have made significant contributions to the success of Haverford College athletics. Through their outstanding achievements, these individuals helped to define excellence for and bring distinction to Haverford College and its athletic program. The Hall of Achievement was created in memory of Thomas Glasser '82 in recognition of his generosity and love for Haverford College.

Larry Forman '60 Award - The Forman Award is selected by the Alumni Association Awards Committee and presented by the Athletic Department. Friends and relatives of Larry Forman approached the College in 1991 about creating an award in his honor. Haverford responded enthusiastically with an award designed to recognize someone whose athletic career in college and subsequent devotion to serving society was reminiscent of Forman.

Middle Atlantic Conference All-Century team - Celebrating its 100th anniversary in the 2012-13 academic year, the Fords' previous league initiated a Hall of Fame as well as MAC 100 all-century teams in 22 sports. Each team was divided into eras starting with the league's inception and carrying through to present day. Haverford honorees are listed with their team and century-team era.

Centennial Conference Silver Anniversary team - During the summer of 2018, the Centennial Conference celebrated 25 years as one of the elite small college athletic conferences in the country with the announcement of its Silver Anniversary teams. With criteria selected by conference officials, the Silver Anniversary teams are designed to highlight the best of the best over the conference's first quarter-century.

For inclusion on a Silver Anniversary team, a student-athlete must have earned their degree from their institution by the end of the 2017-18 academic year and meet one of the following qualifications:

• Three-time or four-time first-team All-Centennial performer
• Two-time Centennial Conference Player of the Year
• First-team All-America AND two-time first-team All-Centennial performer
• Two-time All-America (first, second, or third team)

Basketball programs celebrate 1,000 point scorers - on February 9, 2008, the men's and women's basketball programs celebrated the first 14 players in school history to reach the 1,000 point milestone during a doubleheader with Johns Hopkins.
